Our vision is to be a unique community within a community that excels at anticipating and accommodating the changing lifestyles, expectations, and needs of the people we serve.


J. David Swartley, MBA, NHA
David is responsible for the over-all operation of Moravian Manors, Inc. David began his tenure at Moravian Manor as the Controller. Since 1991 he has served in various capacities. He has been Moravian Manor's President/CEO since 2008. Appointments are suggested and can be made through the Executive Assistant.

Dr. Lynn Swisher, MBA, PhD
Vice President of Health Services

Dr. Lynn Swisher is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, holding degrees as a Registered Nurse, MBA in Healthcare Administration and a PhD in Psychology. She is board certified in quality assurance and risk management as a CHCQM, with The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. Dr. Swisher serves on the consulting staff of Saxton and Stump, LLC, Lawyers and Consultants.

Dr. Swisher has previously served in administrative roles within the long term care field. She is responsible for the oversight of all levels of resident care within Moravian Manor.

Amy L. Blough, MBA, NHA
Vice President of Human Resources

Amy is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the human resource function for the employment, compensation, benefits and labor relations of employees for Moravian Manor.

Cindy Meier, MBA
Vice President of Finance

Cindy is our Vice President of Finance and is responsible for the monthly financial reports and the daily operation of the business office. Cindy has been on staff at Moravian Manor since 1997.

Gary Gaissert
Vice President of Operations

Gary has over 30 years of experience in the construction field and is responsible for the oversight of all facilities operations as well as project management.

Board of Trustees

An elected Board of Trustees governs Moravian Manor. The Board oversees the community’s operation, and is proactively involved in long range strategic planning and development in anticipation of the future and the ever-changing needs of those in search of retirement and health care facilities.

Residents Council

Because we value the opinions and suggestions of residents, we encourage their participation in the Residents’ Association. Through the Council, residents have the opportunity to help shape life at the Manor.
